At Christopher Denk Photography, wedding photography is so much more that just taking formal portraits. It is about documenting every magical, romantic, and emotional moment for the couples to treasure from that day forward. Christopher Denk employs a photojournalist approach to capturing images from the wedding and the reception in addition to taking the traditional photographs of the wedding party and family members.  

Whether working with engaged couples or other portrait clients, Christopher emphasizes the need to spend some time with his clients prior to taking the actual photographs. He strives to understand them and understand their desires and motives for the photographs. Christopher Denk's wedding packages are designed to include all members of the wedding party and family members. While the day centers around the bride and groom, many people are going to be deeply touched by the day. Christopher offers many photographic mementos, some of which can be available the day of the wedding as gifts to the parents' of the bride and groom. An example is, the “From Her Heart” photo folio, which a bride may give to her father after he walks her down the isle; the folio contains a very special photo of the bride and a personal hand written note. It is a touching gift she can give her parents, further including them in the emotional moments of the day.  

Many of Christopher Denk's former clients site his attention to detail, his professionalism and his great eye. For all wedding day events he brings a second photographer to capture additional images and for some of the larger events you will find his creative director and photo coordinator Audrey Denk, his wife. She serves as his second set of eyes, monitoring every detail and paying especially close attention to the bride, so that every detail will be just perfect.  

Christopher Denk's former clients consistently praise him for his professionalism and his photojournalistic images. Melissa Eckenrode explained that she and her husband did not know Christopher Denk prior to engaging his services as a wedding photographer and now they consider he and Audrey to be “very good friends. I knew I liked his work and I would recommend him to anybody. For the reception, I hardly knew he was there but when we reviewed the images, I have such wonderful images from the reception. His approach is kind and professional.” Her impression is that Christopher manages to capture the mood and tone of the day perfectly, even in those photographs, which are traditional and posed.
